1st Grade Goals:
- Be able to find and name China on a world map.
- Be able to recognize and name The Great Wall of China
- Be familiar with and able to recognize the Chinese Flag
- Know that Pandas and 2 hump Camels live in China
Cultural points to present:
- Chinese Language has Characters rather than an alphabet and is read from top to bottom rather than from left to right.
- Traditional clothing
- Chopsticks
- Dragon Puppets
